Delete your BondVox by Beviond account

This page deletes an account in the BondVox by Beviond app (developer: Beviond). You can also do it in the app: Profile & Settings › Delete account.

How to delete your account

1. Enter the email address of your BondVox account.
2. Enter your BondVox password.
3. If two-step sign-in is on, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app (the box appears when it is needed).
4. Tick the box to confirm you understand the deletion is permanent.
5. Press Delete my account. Your account is deleted straight away and you see a confirmation.

Signed up with Google or Apple?

Those accounts have no BondVox password, so the form above can't check it's you. Email help@bondvox.com from the Google or Apple email address on the account and ask us to delete it. The same applies if you can't sign in.

What is deleted

Your email and name, your devices and sessions, your word counts, two-step sign-in data, any synced dictionary, snippets and history, and any guest access you gave or received. People you invited as guests lose the words you gave them, go back to the Free plan (or their own plan), and are told in the app. Recordings are never kept by BondVox, so there are none to delete. In the app, deleting also removes the dictionary, snippets, history and any waiting training clips from that phone. Deleting does not refund a paid plan.

What is kept, and for how long

• Server backups and logs: our database host (Supabase) keeps encrypted backups for up to 7 days and server logs for up to 7 days. Your data drops out of them by itself within 7 days of deletion.
• Invite records: if someone invited you by email, their record of that invite (holding your email address) stays with their account until they delete the invite or their own account, or it expires.
• Totals: aggregated usage and spend counts (for example words used per day across all users) are kept, but no longer linked to you.

Timeline

• In the app or on this page: deleted straight away; backups and logs clear within 7 days. Everything is gone within 30 days at the latest.
• By email (Google, Apple, or can't sign in): we reply to confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days of your email.

Delete some of your data without deleting your account

You can delete some of your data in BondVox by Beviond and keep your BondVox account. Beviond is the developer of BondVox.

In the app

• History: open History and tap Clear, then Clear again to confirm. This clears all recent dictations from that phone. To stop saving them, turn off Profile & Settings › Privacy & data › Keep recent dictations on this device.
• Dictionary: in the Words tab, tap the × next to a word to remove it, or open the word and tap Delete.
• Snippets: in the Words tab, open a snippet and tap Delete.
• Synced (cloud) data: go to Profile & Settings › Sync & cloud storage. Delete my cloud copy deletes your synced dictionary, snippets and history from Beviond servers (within 24 hours) and keeps your account. Turning off Sync across devices stops syncing, but your cloud copy is kept until you delete it.

Removing a word, a snippet or history in the app removes it from that phone. To delete only some items from the cloud copy (rather than all of it), ask us by email.

By request

Email help@bondvox.com from the email address on your BondVox account and tell us which data you want deleted (for example your synced history, dictionary or snippets). We delete it within 30 days of your email and keep your account.

What is deleted, what is kept, and for how long

• Audio: BondVox does not keep your recordings, so there is nothing to delete.
• History, dictionary and snippets: deleted as above. On the Free plan, cloud history is deleted automatically after 2 months (61 days).
• Account details (email and name): kept while you have an account.
• Word-count usage records: kept while you have an account.
• Subscription and purchase records: kept while you have an account. Purchase records may be kept longer where the law (for example tax law) requires it.
• Backups and logs: encrypted backups and server logs at our database host clear within 7 days of a deletion.

To delete everything, delete your whole account using the steps above.
